Overview
Kawthaung Mon, ကော့ပိ is a town located in the southernmost part of Myanmar, in the Tanintharyi Region. During British rule in Burma between 1824 and 1948, it was known as Victoria Point.
Nyaung Oo Phee Island is part of the Southern Mergui Archipelago and can be best reach from Kawthaung. Actually the island is named after one of the four famous warriors who won many wars for King Anawratha (Bagan Area).

No. There are no ATMs on Nyaung Oo Phee island. You will have to draw enough cash in Kawthaung. There are a number of ATMs in Kawthaung. Everything is paid in Myanmar Kyats. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trip.
